A late news scoop: Changes for Wednesday’s ‘Get the Scoop’

Breaking in with this crucial, earth-shaking announcement: There will be no “Get the Scoop” over the noon hour this coming Wednesday (Aug. 10) at the University Union. Now, before there is widespread wailing and weeping and gnashing of teeth, we must quickly assure you that the weekly ice-cream extravaganza is only moving… to the Shorewood Golf Course clubhouse. It’s to help celebrate the 80th anniversary… with a one-time, 80 cents for two scoops sale. Hours will be extended, with ice cream starting at 11 a.m. and lasting until 1:30 p.m. or while supplies last.
