Thanks, Cathy Harden: Faculty, staff get Neville membership discount

UW-Green Bay faculty and staff can take advantage of special membership rates at the Neville Public Museum of Brown County, and it’s all thanks to Cathy Harden. The folks at the Neville are extending a special 20 percent off membership through July 14 as a thank you to Harden, who served on the museum’s board for more than four years. For individuals, that means $7 off (now $28 for a year); for two people, $9 off (now $36); and for families and larger supporting memberships, $12 off (now $48).

There are several UW-Green Bay/Neville partnerships currently in the works, including Assistant Prof. Caroline Boswell’s role as a Humanities Program series moderator and Humanities Program presenter for the exhibit “Agriculture to Tavern Culture — the Art, History and Science of Beer” (June 14-Oct. 26). Boswell will present “Alehouses, Inns, Taverns and the Origins of a Democratic Society” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9.

Interested faculty and staff can take advantage of the special deal now through July 14 by visiting https://48075.blackbaudhosting.com/48075/Membership and using the special promo code UWGB. Call (920) 448-7850 with questions, and visit www.nevillepublicmuseum.org/friends-of-the-neville-memberships for more on the various levels of membership.
