Outreach and Adult Access presents Economic Development Day 2014

The Division of Outreach and Adult Access will present Economic Development Day 2014: Creating Entrepreneurial Communities, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday, July 28 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Green Bay. The all-day enrichment and education event will center around three sessions designed to help attendees explore relevant topics and hear from experts on the issues. Sessions include “Placemaking,” a workshop focused on designing one’s community so it is attractive to entrepreneurs and small businesses; “Creating an Entrepreneurial Strategy,” which will provide the basic framework for communities to use when setting up a strategy to attract and retain entrepreneurs; as well as a best practices panel that will feature experts including our own Ryan Kauth, director of the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center at UW-Green Bay. The cost for the day is just $99. Read our news release for more info.
