Mark your calendar for UW-Green Bay night with the City Band

It’s 112 years and counting for the Green Bay City Band, which kicked off its summer season this week at St. James Park in downtown Green Bay. The free outdoor concerts at 7:30 p.m. each Wednesdays feature various special guests. Aug. 13 is being billed as Phoenix Night and a salute to UW-Green Bay featuring conductor Kevin Collins, trumpeter Adam Gaines, clarinetist Eric Hanson and soprano soloist Courtney Sherman, all of the Music faculty. Additionally, Gaines will solo with the l32nd National Guard Band on salute-to-the-military night on July 9.
