Redefine healthy aging with Geriatric Healthcare certificate program

As our population continues to age, healthcare will require a new approach to age-friendly care that integrates geriatrics concepts and crosses disciplines to ensure the complex needs of older people are met. Our Geriatric Healthcare Certificate Program offers relevant sections on important topics related to prevention, intervention and advance care planning.

Courses are available beginning Summer 2023 and will be available in a format of scheduled online study in Canvas.

If you are charged with the care of older people, this certificate program could expand the quality of your care:

• A nurse in acute or ambulatory care or currently working in a nursing home or assisted living facility
