On Tuesday, April 14 (2020), UW-Green Bay made the difficult decision to not bring campers, volunteers and staff to UW-Green Bay Camps this summer. The health and well-being of all is our highest priority. The medical risk and our ability to protect our campers, volunteers and staff onsite is too great. While news changes daily and all our lives continue to be significantly impacted by the spread of COVID-19, we feel it is in the best interest of the community we serve to not bring people together at a physical camp this summer.
A full refund of any fees paid will be provided via original payment method to anyone who had registered for an on-campus camp this summer. We do ask for patience as it may take up to 30 business days to process the financial transactions. While there is no way we can replace being at camp, we are excited to offer families alternative virtual summer camp experiences in the following areas: – Art – Health – Leadership – STEM To learn more about our new virtual camp offerings and to register, head to our website at www.uwgb.edu/camps. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us at 920.465.2267 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We know that this will pass, and when it does, we will be ready to continue providing the traditional programs you know and love. Many areas are exploring Fall and Winter camp dates. Please watch for communications about future programming.
