Last Call: Inclusivity Fellows Program
The Inclusivity Fellows program will provide financial support ($2,000 stipend) for up to 10 faculty and instructors to infuse inclusive materials into one of their classes, use diverse teaching methods, create an inclusive classroom environment and learn more about implicit biases and stereotyping. This is an opportunity for faculty and instructors to become more culturally competent teachers by providing them time and resources from the one-time funds to diversify their courses. Fellows would meet monthly as a group with Kate Burns and Stacie Christian during the 2017-18 academic year. If interested, please send a statement to Kate Burns (burnsk@uwgb.edu) by April 26 in 400 words or less on why you are interested in being a fellow, which course you would like to revise, and what specifically you hope to achieve for this course.
