UW-Green Bay Financial Aid Director Ron Ronnenberg told the Green Bay Press-Gazette Monday (March 29) that changes in the administration of student loans could mean more money available for students and more work for staff. The change in the student loan program calls for direct government loans, eliminating the fees paid to private lenders. Ronnenberg said the University this week will initiate a direct loan program for 2010 summer term students. By the fall semester the direct loan program will be available for all students. Read more.
