Celebrate Ganga Nair’s life today

Friends and colleagues are invited today (Friday, March 26) to a celebration of Prof. Ganga Nair, who died unexpectedly on March 10. A founding faculty member of UW-Green Bay environmental sciences, Nair was an internationally renowned expert on forest preservation.

Today’s ceremony will be held 4 to 6 p.m. in the Phoenix Room of the University Union. From 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. speakers can share their remembrances of Prof. Nair.

A scholarship fund has been established at UW-Green Bay. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the “Ganga and Elizabeth Nair Endowed Scholarship” and mailed to UW-Green Bay, Advancement Office, 2420 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay, WI 54311.
