Green Bay Film Festival has campus connections
Eileen Littig and daughter Melissa Godoy will show their film Do Not Go Gently on creativity and aging at 5:15 pm on Saturday (Feb. 26) at the KI Center. During this time, Godoy will premiere a 30-minute film, The Runaway Train, shot in Cincinnati with people with dementia. Do Not Go Gently was produced by NEWIST and received a gold medal at the New York Film Festival and national media award from the American Society on Aging.
Alex Zacarias and Dean Thomas will show their film Manufacturing for the Future at 5:30 pm on Saturday at KI Center. This program was produced by ETP-NEW.
Eileen Littig and Dean Thomas will show their video The Hidden Homeless about four homeless teens on Sunday, February 27 at 12:15 pm in Room 5 at the KI Center. This video received the 2010 Outstanding Media Award from the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth in Houston in November. This video was produced by NEWIST/CESA 7 and ETP-NEW.
