2013 Daffodil Days campaign kicks off
The American Cancer Society’s 2013 Daffodil Days campaign is off and running! This fundraiser celebrates the ACS’s mission to fight cancer and raise awareness One of the first flowers of spring, the daffodil was chosen by the ACS as a symbol of hope. At UW-Green Bay, you may order daffodils to keep for yourself or give to someone special, or make an anonymous Gift of Hope to an area cancer patient. Choices include: Bunch of Daffodils, $10; Bunch of Daffodils and a Vase, $15; Dainty Daffodil Plant, $15; Gift of Hope, $25; Bear & a Bunch (includes a Boyd’s Birthday Bear), $25; Bear Hugs for Hope (comfort a child experiencing cancer), $25; Sunshine Bouquet, $75.
