UW-Green Bay Chancellor Thomas Harden e-mailed faculty and staff Feb. 2 with a final report on the search and screen for the institution’s assistant chancellor for student services. Following on-campus interviews in December with each of the two finalists for the position, the Search Committee recommended to the Chancellor that neither individual be offered the position. In light of that recommendation and what he described as a challenging budget situation, Harden said the University will not under take another search for the position. Dean Brenda Amenson-Hill and Dean Mike Stearney will continue to lead their respective areas of Student Services, reporting to the Provost, with “dotted line” reporting responsibility to the Chancellor.
