Technology, poverty among topics for Fall 2012 Offerings for Educators
New courses and popular favorites are among the wide variety of Fall 2012 Offerings for Educators from UW-Green Bay Education Outreach.
Technology and the cutting-edge classroom are the focus of several classes, including the brand-new offering “Integrating iPads into the Curriculum.” Educators also can explore “Creativity in the 21st Century Classroom” and “Designing the 21st Century Classroom,” both of which are among the courses being offered online this fall. Other classes include “Children and Poverty,” the relevant and popular returning course that helps educators examine the issues of childhood poverty and homelessness, and the effects on the brain and learning.
The diverse array of Fall 2012 courses allows teachers, administrators and other professionals to earn college credits while enhancing their knowledge of today’s issues and trends in education. Noncredit options also are available for most classes. Courses are offered in a number of Northeastern Wisconsin locations, as well as via online and blended learning options, allowing busy educators to learn where and when it is convenient for them.
