UW-Green Bay Eliminating Fleet Vehicle Program

In case you missed the memo last week, here is a reminder that UW-Green Bay will be eliminating the fleet vehicle program through Facilities Planning and Management effective August 31, 2017. Like other campuses which have eliminated the fleet program, Facilities Management has witnessed a decline in use of the vehicles. Staffing reductions have affected the ability to maintain vehicles and administer the program. At the discretion of the budgetary authority within each division, travelers will have the choice of using their own personal vehicle for University business or renting a vehicle through one of the companies with a contract with the State of Wisconsin. You will still need to be a UW-Green Bay authorized driver for both personal and rental vehicles. To access these contracts please go to UW TravelWIse under “Discounts/Contract Car Rentals.” Reservations can be made through Concur. The contract booking tool is accessible through UW TravelWIse. Contract vehicle rental rates are automatically applied when reservations are made in Concur. (You will need to login with your UWGB campus login and password to access the discounted booking codes used for university employees). Reservations will continue to be honored through August 31, 2017.
