In the News: Adult Degree’s ‘One Degree Closer’ eases transfer from NTC

Things are pretty quiet on campus these days; but for many, summer is a great time to think about the future and maybe plan a return to school. We told you earlier this month about the “One Degree Closer” initiative, a guaranteed credit-transfer partnership between UW-Green Bay’s Adult Degree Program and Wausau-based Northcentral Technical College. The agreement, featured in a short article in Thursday’s (May 24) Green Bay Press-Gazette, allows students who have earned an associate degree at NTC to transfer at least 60 credits to UW-Green Bay in pursuit of a Bachelor of Applied Studies degree.
