Faculty opportunity to attend AAC&U Conference on Diversity

The Inclusive Classroom committee received funding for four faculty members to attend the AAC&U Conference on Diversity, Learning and Student Success (March 16-18 in Jacksonville, Fla. (www.aacu.org/meetings/dlss/2017) as part of the one-time funds. The committee is specifically looking for faculty who have interest in diversity, but not a lot of experience in this area. Faculty members would attend the conference, participate in a campus-wide panel discussion, implement a project related to the conference and write a final report.  If you are interested, please email Kate Burns (burnsk@uwgb.edu) by Jan. 24 with a paragraph describing your interest and experience with diversity.
