UW-Green Bay’s Chorale and Concert Choir to perform Oct. 20

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Chorale and Concert Choir conducted by Prof. Randall Meder will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20 in the Cofrin Family Hall of the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.

The Concert Choir, with accompanist Mary Slavek, will perform pieces by Thomas Ford, Orazio Vecchi, Felix Mendelssohn and Randy Stonehill.

The UW-Green Bay Chorale, with accompanist Prof. David Severtson, will perform works by Lloyd Pfautsch, Johannes Brahms, David Dickau, Loreena McKennitt and Stephen Chatman. The piece “I Love My Love,” by Dickau, will feature Prof. Eric Hansen on clarinet.

In between the Concert Choir and Chorale performances, the UW-Green Bay Vocal Jazz Ensemble will perform under the direction of Christine Salerno. The ensemble will perform Chamego “Betty’s Bossa” and “A Night in Tunisia.”
