Reminder for faculty: Cofrin Library session is next Wednesday

Travel the “Information World” of the Cofrin Library next Wednesday (Aug. 24) from 2 to 3 p.m. on the library’s fourth floor. Faculty can meet with staff from around the Library “globe” as each department shows how it contributes to making research easier for both faculty and students. “Besides research, we also have exciting spaces to accommodate a variety of faculty and student needs. With advances in technology, we have many new services we would love to show you as well, from virtual shelf browsing to online table of contents for books in our stacks. Come see what the Library has to offer you!”

Useful door prize:
As an incentive, the Cofrin Library will be offering eight faculty attendees access to The University of Wisconsin Research Network, an annual program that offers access to UW-Madison’s electronic collections for selected faculty across UW System. Recipients will be given access to the vast electronic resources available through UW Madison for the period of one academic year.
