Upward Bound student receives honor

Director of UW-Green Bay’s Upward Bound program Michael Casbourne, forwarded a note about future UWGB student Tina Vang.

Vang’s pin design was selected as the Wisconsin representative for the Future Business Leaders of America’s national convention this summer in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to her pin design being manufactured for Wisconsin FBLA, Vang was awarded a $50 cash prize and an additional $100 for the Green Bay East High School chapter of FBLA at the opening session at the state FBLA conference.

Vang will attend UW-Green Bay in fall of 2012. She has taken part in UWGB’s Upward Bound program for four years.
