Chancellor’s Scholarship Dinner
The eighth annual Chancellor’s Scholarship Dinner was elegant yet appealingly informal in the way it brought together campus friends and community leaders for a relaxing evening to benefit student scholarships.
About 200 individuals attended the event at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. It was the first scholarship dinner for UW-Green Bay’s new chancellor, Thomas Harden. Hosted by the institution’s Council of Trustees, the gathering has become a signature social event and significant fundraiser.
Among those in attendance was student Erica Kiela, recipient of a scholarship funded by proceeds from the annual dinner. That’s her posing with Chancellor Harden in image No. 27 in the slideshow below. Kiela, a freshman from Plymouth, will explore interests in nutritional sciences and medicine at UW-Green Bay.
