'Historic gems' noted at archives presentation, 'What's in our attic?'

Table Display from Archives Brown Bag Talk, Monday, November 2,2009Retirees, faculty, staff and students turned out to experience UW-Green Bay’s history through its archival material last week. Deb Anderson, coordinator of special collections, University Archives (CL 705), hosted the brown bag lunch session called “What’s in Our Attic,” on Monday, Nov. 2. Attendees learned about historic gems such as location of the proposed “climatron”, married student housing, and a football stadium, which are noted on the original campus master plan. As a bonus, a few of the University’s original faculty members gave their first-hand accounts of early campus events.
