Communication Celebration
About 180 graduates, students and guests attended the first-ever UW-Green Bay Communication Week last week. During the week’s events, attendees connected with former classmates and faculty, learned about the past, present and future of the communication program and listened to a structured interview with two successful UW-Green Bay alumni. Blair Endowed Chair of Communication Phil Clampitt said distinguished judges for the poster showcase were “amazed by the quality of presentations, the strategic thinking, and the professionalism of the presenters.” The first-ever UW-Green Bay Comm Week began on Monday, Jan. 30 and concluded Thursday, Feb. 2. Kudos to the Comm Week planning team: Erica Ropson, Eli Hughes, Emily Vorpagel, Morgan Theobald, Hannah Koerner, Avery Faehling and Amy Bauer. “This was a great kick-off to the semester,” Clampitt said. “Let’s all stay dedicated to thinking strategically, communicating professionally, and continuously improving.”
