UW-Green Bay Theatre Studio and Alternate Theatre presents ‘Exit, Pursued by a Bear’ May 1-3
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Theatre Studio and Alternate Theatre completes its season with a student directed performance of Lauren Gunderson’s “Exit, Pursued by a Bear,” at 7:30 p.m. May 1-3, 2018 in the Weidner Center.
Recommended for mature audiences, “Exit, Pursued by a Bear” is a smart, dark revenge comedy about a woman named Nan who has decided to teach her abusive husband, Kyle, a lesson. With the help of her friend, Simon, and a stripper named Sweetheart, she tapes her husband to a chair and forces him to watch as they re-enact scenes from their painful past. Through this night of emotional trials and ridiculous theatrics, they are both freed from their past.
