Men’s soccer wins Horizon title outright

One week after a thrilling double-overtime victory at Aldo Santaga Stadium to clinch a share of the Horizon League regular season championship, the Green Bay men’s soccer team secured the title outright with a 1-0 win at Northern Kentucky, doing so once again in double overtime. Tomer Zloczower was the hero of the night for the Phoenix, netting the game-winner in the 103rd minute on a free kick just outside the box. Green Bay closed out the season with the best mark in Horizon League play in the program’s history at 7-1-1. The Phoenix also clinched the No. 1 seed heading into next week’s tournament.
