Wausau commissioning a piece of public art

In commemoration of the Wausau Rotary Centennial, the Wausau Rotary Club is commissioning a piece of public art. Proposals are due by April 30, 2017 and the Rotary Board has authorized a maximum commission of $50,000. A medium has not been selected, but it must withstand weather such as mural, mosaic, metal scuplture or bronze. Plans are for installation by the summer of 2018.  The RFP can be found on the lower left page at www.wausaurotary.org.
