Grandparents University class of 2016
August 5th marks the conclusion of another successful year of UW-Green Bay’s Grandparents’ University (GPU). This outreach program engages children (aged 7-14) and their grandparents in activities in different “majors” in a college setting. Activities offered include basket weaving, cartoon character drawing, rocket building, improvisation courses and more. GPU is designed to promote higher education to children in the community, while providing a setting in which grandparents and their grandchildren may bond, learn and have fun. Accommodations are offered in the UWGB residence halls, and classes take place in classrooms on campus. See pictures of the GPU class of 2016.
