UWGB Police awarded $6,000 pedestrian safety grant

Congratulations to UWGB Police for a $6,000 grant awarded from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The grant will provide additional traffic enforcement to encourage motorists to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks, bicycle safety, and pedestrian safety on campus and in the Green Bay area. UWGB Police will partner with area law enforcement in safety campaigns over the next six months. Campus community members are encouraged to focus on the safety of the pedestrians and bicyclists on campus and in the surrounding communities. UWGB Police received positive feedback from campus last week regarding stepped up efforts regarding crosswalk enforcement.
