Meredith, Gallagher-Lepak presented ‘The Healing Power of Music’

Professors Sarah Meredith (Music) and Susan Gallagher-Lepak (Nursing) presented on “The Healing Power of Music” to a capacity crowd (registration closed at 160 attendees) on Thursday, March 31 through Spirituality in Retirement Forum (SPIRET) at St. Anne’s Church in DePere. The presentation covered music therapy and the science behind it, and using music for beneficial outcomes with various illness conditions (e.g., dementia, tinnitus, pain) and in daily life. Several of Professor Meredith’s music students shared their voices as part of the presentation.
