Special Spaces: UW-Green Bay sorority contributes to room project for sick kids

UW-Green Bay’s Zeta Omega Tau service sorority was part of a big room makeover reveal this weekend, thanks to fundraising and volunteer efforts in conjunction with Special Spaces-Green Bay. The sorority raised about $1,500 toward a playroom transformation for two young Green Bay brothers who are forced to spend a lot of time indoors due to immune deficiency illness. Construction professionals, sorority members and other volunteers joined forces to complete the makeover Friday night and Saturday. Student and Zeta Omega Tau member Karinda Jennings is quoted in a Green Bay Press-Gazette story about the project, and fellow ZOT sister Becca Ellenbecker is the first person interviewed in a video that accompanies the story online.
