SBDC at UW-Green Bay to present series of no-cost business webinars
The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay will present three no-cost webinars during the second quarter of 2014, offering enrichment opportunities on a variety of relevant topics. Sessions last 30 minutes, plus time for a question-and-answer session following the presentation.
The first installment in the new webinar series, titled “How to Protect Your Business Value,” will be offered at noon on Tuesday, April 22 and 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 24. Participants will learn about key business value protection strategies such as business protection, employee retention, business marketing positioning and financial independence. The presenter for the webinar will be John Kielich, Financial Consultant, AXA Advisors LLC.
In May, webinar participants will learn “How to Lead Your Business Through Change” during a session of the same name with Tina Schuelke, Founder and Executive Director of Change Management | Communications Center LLC. Schuelke will speak about the overlapping changes in professionals’ workplace and personal lives, and offer advice on engaging employees, which is the key to a successful change at work. Webinars will be offered at noon on Tuesday, May 20 and 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 22.
The June webinar, titled “How to Ask For and Get What you Want,” will be presented by Terra L. Fletcher, Founder and President of Fletcher Consulting. The session will focus on effective strategies for encouraging someone to change his or her behavior, as well as offering advice on building productive working relationships. Sessions will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 17 and 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19.
