Slideshow: Kress Center’s Buelow is Student Employee of the Year
Congratulations are in order for UW-Green Bay senior Emily Buelow, named Monday afternoon (April 14) as UW-Green Bay’s Student Employee of the Year. Buelow, a Human Biology major with an emphasis in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology, is the head student building manager at the Kress Events Center. She manages 60 student employees, runs the 8-week group fitness instructor training program, and was recognized this year by the National Intramural Recreation Sports Association for her active participation at UW-Green Bay. Buelow has presented at state conferences on subjects including developing and revamping fitness classes. She was one of 16 students nominated for the annual award.
Five other students were honored for outstanding demonstration of one of the five evaluation qualities. They are Eva Campbell, University Athletics; Mandi Eckelberg, University Union; Brooke Fitzgerald, University Advancement; Ryan Hass, University Union; and Jordan Marty, Social Work.
