Faculty note: Voelker publication
Associate Prof. David Voelker (Humanistic Studies and History) has published an essay titled “Designing a Question-Driven U.S. History Course” in the July 2013 issue of The OAH Magazine of History, the magazine of the Organization of American Historians. Voelker collaborated with Anthony Armstrong, an 8th-grade social studies teacher, to write the essay, which addresses history course design at the middle school, high school, and introductory college levels. The article appears in an issue titled “Rethinking the American Past.” See more.
