By the numbers: SBDC assists 31 business starts, hundreds of entrepreneurs in 2012
The numbers are in, and the UW-Green Bay Small Business Development Center had a great year in 2012. The SBDC provided no-cost business counseling to 240 small business owners and entrepreneurs during the year, delivering 523 business-counseling sessions. Through that assistance, SBDC business counselors supported 31 business starts and more than $8 million in capital formation for small businesses in Northeastern Wisconsin. In addition to one-on-one business counseling, the UW-Green Bay SBDC also delivered more than 2,100 hours of training to nearly 200 program attendees. Kudos to former SBDC Director Christina Trombley, now the director of the Adult Degree Program at UW-Green Bay, and current SBDC Director Ryan Kauth. Here’s to a terrific 2013! Read more.
