Registration now open for May 6 symposium on ‘Changing Economy’
The breakfast symposium “Our Changing Economy: Strategies for Moving Forward in an Uncertain Economic Environment” is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, at the KI Convention Center downtown. Keynote speakers are Interim Chancellor David Ward, president of NorthStar Economics, Inc.; Wade Rousse of the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago; and John Koskinen, the chief economist and division administrator for the Division of Research and Policy for the state of Wisconsin.
“These are challenging economic times globally and in the New North region,” Ward says. “The rapid pace of economic change is unprecedented. This symposium will provide an opportunity to consider how we got here, where we’re going, and how our region fits into the global economic picture.” The program fee is $89 for the public and $30 for students.
