Blog describes lecture capture, ‘flipped instruction’ at UW-Green Bay
The World of Webcast blog has posted a feature describing how UW-Green Bay students are being “introduced to a new form of learning this semester – flipped instruction, a fancy way of saying that lectures are pre-recorded and watched prior to class so that classroom time can be spent having in-depth discussions about the content.” Students are still attending their classes like usual, but now they’re able to watch lectures before class or review them afterwards. The report quotes learning-technology staff members Leif Nelson and Dan Schrickel of UW-Green Bay’s Academic Technology Services division. See more.
