The strategic value of a company’s information technology department was among the topics covered at a regional conference hosted late last week by the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business. The Green Bay Press-Gazette ran a story about the Midwest Association for Information Systems conference, held Friday and Saturday at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center. UW-Green Bay Business Administration Prof. Gaurav Bansal was the chair of the event. “Information systems impact everybody,” Bansal told the newspaper. “It becomes critical that we need to involve stakeholders and build a bridge to the community, to businesses and involve everybody.” Full story.
