Finalists, open sessions announced for Director of Adult Degree Programs


Associate Provost Steve VandenAvond has announced the names of the four finalists for the position of director of Adult Degree Programs. The candidates will each spend an interview day on campus the week of May 21; their visits include a 45-minute public session with presentations on the topic, “The future of adult education and related UW-Green Bay structures and strategies.” The finalists and public presentation times are as follows:

Christina Trombley, Director, Small Business Development Center, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, public presentation at 3:30 p.m., Monday, May 21;
Deborah Sixel, Director of Student Learning, Kiel Area School District, presentation at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 22;
Eric Craver, Director of External Relations, Outreach and Adult Access, UW-Green Bay, presentation at 11:30 a.m.,Wednesday, May 23;
Carla Schommer, Regional Associate Dean for Advising and Student Support, College of Business and Management, Cardinal Stritch University, presentation at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24.

Each of the public presentations will take place in MAC Hall Room 137. The candidates are seeking to succeed Zach Voelz, who resigned earlier this year to accept a vice president position with Lakeland College. Resumes and cover letters for the candidates are posted on the Adult Degree website.
