Busy Business: Snapshots from Business Week, part one
Business Week 2012 was so busy at UW-Green Bay that it actually spilled over two weeks. With a theme of “Partnering for Success,” the programming offered plenty of opportunities for current Business Administration and Accounting students to network with, and learn from, working professionals including many UW-Green Bay alumni.
Among the events organized by the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business were a student business-plan competition, an open house and Austin Cofrin portrait unveiling, a professional etiquette luncheon, a mock-interview practice day, and a professional panel of HR practitioners offering job-search tips for students.
A job and internship fair was scheduled for the Wednesday of Business Week (March 7) and a keynote dinner featuring internationally known golf-industry CEO Mark King, UW-Green Bay Class of 1981, was set for Thursday (March 8). We’ll have snapshots from those events in our next gallery.
