Notice: Forum to tackle graduation rates of at-risk youth

Members of the campus community are invited to a panel discussion from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday (Nov. 21) in the University Union’s Christie Theatre. The forum is designed to examine educational policies and programs focused on raising the graduation rates of at-risk youth. Panelists will include a blue-ribbon mix of elected officials, educators, and school reform advocates.

Scheduled to take part are:

• Kim Desotell, director of Phuture Phoenix program, UW-Green Bay
• Timothy Kaufman, chair of Education program, UW-Green Bay
• Bob Osgood, chair, teacher education at St. Norbert College
• Nancy Schopf, Green Bay Chamber of Commerce education liaison
• Michele Langenfeld, superintendent, Green Bay Public Schools
• Celestine Jeffreys, Green Bay School Board
• Paul Lotto, teacher, Ashwaubenon High School
