Business leaders testify that UW System’s lapse is unfair


Business leaders told a state Senate panel this week that Wisconsin needs to find a way to fend off more budget cuts to higher education. Their remarks come as the UW System braces for a budget lapse that would target the System for an especially large giveback. Craig Culver of Culver’s Restaurants called education business’ best partner, “We must find a way to lessen the blow to education during the tough times, like now, and invest more during the good times.” See story here.
