No furloughs this year — all offices open Thanksgiving Friday
For the first time in three years, the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, Nov. 25) will not be a mandatory closure date at UW-Green Bay. Instead, University officials say there is an expectation that all offices will be operational, open to the public and at least minimally staffed. Staff and faculty are reminded that Thanksgiving Friday was a mandatory furlough day only in 2009 and 2010; with furloughs now rescinded, that day is now just another open-for-business (if relatively quiet) day on campus.
