It’s Poland, not Belgium, for Hoewisch

We brought you the news this summer that former Phoenix woman’s basketball standout Celeste Hoewisch would be joining former teammate Kalya Tetschlag to play professionally in Belgium. Plans have changed, however, as the league Tetschlag plays in allows only one American per team. So Hoewisch has signed a one-year contract with a Polish team; its first regular-season game is Oct. 1. Read full story.
