Desotell guest column: Community must urge college-bound mindset

Phuture Phoenix director Kim Desotell encourages the community to “vigorously embrace a college-going mentality” in a guest column in Tuesday’s (Aug. 23) Green Bay Press-Gazette. The column on the paper’s Opinion page underscores the central tenets of UW-Green Bay’s signature program, including the idea that everyone in the community — from teachers to coaches and pediatricians — should encourage an expectation of education beyond high school.
