Log subscribers who were fortunate enough to catch Dr. Tina Sauerhammer’s spring 2011 commencement address last month probably haven’t forgotten this incredible alumna’s amazing story. A UW-Green Bay graduate at just 18 who became the UW Medical School’s youngest-ever grad four years later, Sauerhammer went on to help perform this country’s first-ever full face transplant. Her career has taken her amazing places, but Sauerhammer assured graduates she still bleeds green and gold.
