Winning 'solar t-shirt' design shines

One of the fun elements of the 15th Annual WPS Solar Olympics held May 11 at UW-Green Bay was the Solar T-Shirt Design Contest.

No, it wasn’t about using those little photovoltaic panels to power a smart phone or music player sewn into the fabric. It was all about high school students submitting creative designs to make a fashion statement promoting solar power. The winning design:
