The new phone books are here!
The new 2010-11 faculty/staff phone directories have been delivered. They are available for pick-up in the Marketing/Communications Office, but please remember that the printed phone books are distributed only to offices and units, and not singly, to individual faculty or staff. (It is done that way to better account for the limited supply.) To receive your allotment, have your designated phone-books-picker-upper visit Cofrin Library Room 815 between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., any weekday.
About these phone books…
New this year is the way the print book was compiled. Entries in the individual listings are now derived solely from the electronic Human Resources database of permanent UW-Green Bay employees. The annual task formerly involved synching up several manually maintained lists, not always operating in concert, so the new process has the additional value of centralizing name/title/address info in one (and only one) location. That location, the HR directory, depends upon employee and supervisor input to keep current.
