UW-Green Bay alumni serve, sweep and smile for more than 7,000 marathoners

UW-Green Bay alumni gathered early Sunday morning, May 16, to prepare a water station for more than 7,000 marathoners competing in the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon. While serving, sweeping and smiling, the volunteers yelled encouragement to the runners (even if they wore gear from other colleges and universities). Phlash, the Phoenix mascot, got into the action with fist pumps and high fives. It was one of many events for the alumni last week. Organizers were thrilled about the large showing at an Alumni Commencement Reception at Titletown Brewing on Saturday (May 15). A few days earlier a number of accounting alumni came back to campus to help prepare seniors as they enter the job market. Check out these and other alumni event photos.
