Gigs for Rough Draft

Our favorite band of Humanistic Studies musicians, Rough Draft, is playing its usual mix of light jazz, pop, show tunes and a few original compositions this coming Saturday (April 17), 7 to 9 p.m. at the Art Garage, 1409 Main/1400 Cedar Street (two entrances). You can also catch them on Friday, April 23, 7 to 11 p.m., at A’s Restaurant and Music Café, 112 N. Broadway in De Pere. They’ll be selling their newest CD at both gigs—although all the cuts on the CD are also available on their Facebook page. Vocals are handled by Music Theatre students Shelbi Cox and Molly LeCaptain. English faculty Stefan Hall (lead guitar) and Brian Sutton (second guitar, piano) handle the instrumental parts.
