Mrs. Hinton honored at Dreamers and Doers Luncheon

UW-Green Bay alumnus Maria Hinton (’79) was honored Saturday (March 13) as the overall award-winner at the fourth annual Dreamers and Doers Luncheon by the Green Bay Branch of the American Association of University Women. An Oneida cultural leader and linguist, Hinton, age 99, and UW-Green Bay Prof. Cliff Abbott have just completed a web-based searchable Oneida dictionary that will feature the correct pronunciation of more than 34,000 Oneida words and phrases.
