Innovation On-Ramp Course, Feb. 7 through March 3

Spread the word! Innovation On-Ramp is a multi-week learning experience and pitch event that gives UW-Green Bay students a chance to learn innovation skills or advance their ideas—regardless of their field or goal. The Innovation On-Ramp Course is Wednesdays, Feb. 7 through March 3 at 1 p.m. in the Christie Theatre and it is free.

Stressing mentorship, networking and building an innovation skill set, students (as a team or individually) can earn a resume-boosting innovation badge by participating in the learning experience and exposure and prize money for presenting in the capstone pitch event. Participation in the pitch event is optional.

Week 1 (Feb. 7): Identifying a Problem

Week 2 (Feb. 14): Developing an Innovative Solution

Week 3 (Feb. 21): Defining Your Market

Week 4 (Feb. 28): Practicing Your Pitch

If you complete the Canvas course and attend at least one interactive session, you will receive a WiSys Innovation Thinking Badge—a great resume booster. The pitch event serves as a capstone to the learning experience, allowing participants to showcase their work and put into practice what they learned. Pitching, however, is optional. Those that do pitch can win recognition and the following cash prizes: First: $1,000 Second: $500 Third: $250 Up to five participating student organizations will receive $100 awards.
